TP-Link সাধারণভাবে পরামর্শ দেয় যে Deco-র মতো মেশ ইউনিটগুলোকে ওয়্যারলেসভাবে সংযুক্ত থাকলে প্রায় ৫০ ফুট (প্রায় ১৫ মিটার) এর বেশি দূরে রাখা উচিত নয়। অর্থাৎ ভালো ও স্থিতিশীল সংযোগের জন্য দ্বিতীয় Deco ইউনিটটি প্রধান Deco-র এই দূরত্বের মধ্যেই থাকা ভালো।
বাস্তব বাড়ির ক্ষেত্রে দেয়াল, ফ্লোর, আসবাবপত্র ও অন্যান্য বাধা সিগন্যালের শক্তি কমিয়ে দেয়। তাই যদি আপনার বাড়িতে মোটা কংক্রিটের দেয়াল বা একাধিক তলা থাকে, তাহলে আরও ভালো পারফরম্যান্সের জন্য ইউনিটগুলোকে এই দূরত্বের থেকেও কাছাকাছি বসানো উত্তম।
