Meta tests a new streaming platform for influencers

Meta is bringing a new live streaming platform as part of deals with influencers. The platform called Super is being brought to influencers for video content.

According to a published report, Meta is working on developing a new livestreaming platform called Super for livestreamers, content creators and influencers. The platform allows influencers to start and monetize livestreams alone or with their followers. Meta will pay influencers between $200 and $3,000 to use the platform during the testing phase.

Surprisingly, the development of Super started in late 2020. It is currently under Meta's New Product Experiments team. Meanwhile, Super is a very small platform and it is currently being tested with a small group of content creators. Meta has already reached out to some manufacturers to test the new platform.
